The Karacasu Ethnography Museum is located in the center of Karacasu district, on the Tavas Road. Opened in 2007 under the Aphrodisias Museum Directorate, the museum displays ethnographic artifacts related to ceramics, ironwork, leather, and other handicrafts from the district's past to the present. With mannequins providing reenactments, it's a must-visit for anyone seeking a cultural treasure trove. The museum's collection contains 622 items related to the socio-cultural history of Karacasu and its surroundings. Many of the artifacts are handicrafts such as leatherworking, weaving, pottery, and blacksmithing. Approximately 32% of the museum's artifacts are shuttle-woven items. These woven fabrics were used in products such as sashes, covers, shirts, towels, pouches, three-layered skirts, and trousers. 327 items from the collection are on display, while 295 are kept in storage. Some of the artifacts are presented with mannequins for recreation. Ottoman-era tombstones, horse, bellows and ox plows, weaving looms, iron cradles, copper and brass jewelry, donation necklaces, jeweler's scales, candlesticks, handmade wooden dervish prayer beads, copper dinner sets, hand mills, original state stamps and seals, and a 300-year-old handwritten Quran are among the artifacts exhibited in the museum. The museum also houses some documents and objects that keep alive the memory of the early period of the Republic. A certificate of the Independence Medal given with the signature of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk in 1926 and the Tenth Anniversary Monument, built during the celebrations of the 10th anniversary of the Republic in 1933, are exhibited in the museum.
