Museum building was first built as a muinicipality building in 1894. The building, which was visited by the Great Leader Atatürk, has been used as museum since 1994. The museum consists of three sections. In the Nature Hall, which is on the entrance floor, animals which has inhabited and has been inhabiting our region are exbibited in embalmed condition. On the upper floor, works unearthed in excavations in Babaeski Düğüncülü, Vize Çakıllı, Yündolan Tumulus, Vize Ancient Theater and Demirköy Iron Foundry are exhibited. Works from Neolithic and Chalcolithic Period unearthed in Aşağıpınar and Kanlıgeçit excavations are also exhibited in different sections. In the section on ethnographic works, depictions of regional village life, regional clothes, handmade products, accesories, weapons and other ethnographic works are exhibited. A part of coin collection belonging to Hellenistic, Roman, Byzantium and Ottoman Period are exhibited on the second floor.
