05.07.2023 Tarih ve E-76252222-152.01-3888704 sayılı Bakanlık oluru ile; Ereğli Müzesi'nin tadilat ve güçlendirme çalışmaları tamamlanıncaya kadar geçici olarak ziyarete kapatılmıştır.

Considering the historical richness of Ereğli and its surroundings, the construction of the museum building was started in 1967 and the construction was completed in 1978 and opened to visitors. Ereğli Museum is one of the rare museums in Anatolia that offers an uninterrupted exhibition from the Neolithic Age to the Republic Period.
