Archeology and Ethnography Museum In the museum, which is located in the district center and opened for service in 1988, the Old Bronze Age was found as a result of the archaeological excavation carried out by Professor Kemal BALKAN from the Faculty of Language, History, and Geography of Ankara University between 1967 and 1976. Artifacts belonging to the Age, Hittite, Phrygian, Hellenistic, Roman, and Eastern Roman Periods, as well as ethnographic artifacts and coin artifacts belonging to the Ottoman Period are exhibited. With the consent and supervision of our Ministry, maintenance-repair and then display-arrangement work was carried out in the museum between 2009 and 2011. The museum is open every day except Monday and can be visited free of charge between 10:00 am and 16:00 pm during the pandemic period. In 2019, 19,566 people, both local and foreign, visited the museum. There is 1 staff member in the working staff of the museum.
