During the Ottoman Period, the first Police Museum was planned within the Der-Saadet (Istanbul) Police School in 1911, but the work was interrupted due to war conditions. The attempts to open a Police Museum, which started in the years of World War I, were completed in 2020 with the establishment of the Police Museum within the scope of the Department of Social Services and Health. In the museum, the stages of the Police Department from the reign of Sultan Abdülmecid to the present, the methods followed by the police while maintaining public order, the events they encountered, and the tools and equipment they used are exhibited.
